Window Warranty

Glass

Western provides a Standard Transferable twenty (20) year, Non-Prorated Warranty for the supply of insulated glass units which are designed to conform to Federal Specifications and free from vision obstruction resulting from dust or moisture collection between the interior glass surfaces of the insulated unit. Any flaws/defects in glass must be visible from 3m back and in the center 75% of the glass. Rainbow effect resulting from indirect lighting is not a defect or covered by warranty.

Window Hardware

Western also provides a transferable Lifetime/Non-Prorated Warranty on all window hardware found to be defective in
materials or workmanship. This warranty is for the repair or replacement of hardware. Western includes 10 year labor
warranty from date of purchase. Stripped or abused hardware is not covered by this warranty.

Vinyl

Western Windows provides a transferable Lifetime/ Non-Prorated Warranty against such defects in material and
workmanship that may result in blistering, peeling, flaking or corroding of the vinyl window or patio door frame or sash
members, in accordance with all terms as specified in this warranty. Western provides a 10 year warranty on any vinyl
product paint by Western. Fading of painted surfaces is not covered under this warranty. Product painted by customer
not covered by this warranty.

Doors

Western provides a 10 year warranty on steel door slabs, includes slabs painted by Western. Customer is responsible to
paint / stain any exposed wood frames and perimeter mouldings. Any consequential warping/rotting is not covered.

Labour

Western provides a transferable 10 year warranty on all product installed by western. Leakage or damage caused by
building settlement or failure of existing building envelope, structural walls or foundation are not cover by this warranty.
Western reserves the right to discontinue or change any product as currently manufactured. Western reserves the right
to substitute a part or parts of equal quality at its sole option and discretion.
